On the night of graduation, you will experience an all-inclusive, all-night event just for New Trier Seniors. Don’t miss an awesome night with a DJ, dancing, casino tables, games, crafts, outdoor activities, late-night food, raffle prizes, a beach sunrise, and more!

FAQs
What time does the party start?
Doors are open from 10:45pm–11:30pm. Doors close at 11:30pm. No exceptions.
What do I need to enter?
Bring your school ID. While a waiver must be completed prior to the party, almost all parents signed the waiver during this year's school registration process . Parents will receive an email from the Principal's office only if the waiver has NOT been signed.
Who can attend?
New Trier Class of 2026 Seniors only.
What happens at the party?
DJ, food and drinks, casino tables, games, arts & crafts, photo booths, and more. Outdoor activities (weather permitting). Raffle prizes all night, with a grand prize at the end. You must be present to win.
What should I wear?
Wear your graduation ceremony attire. Formal only: dresses (mid-calf or longer), jumpsuits, suits or tuxes with dress shirt and tie. Jackets optional. Comfortable shoes encouraged. Students wearing other attire will be sent home to change.
Can I bring a jacket or bag?
Yes, but all jackets and bags must be checked at entry. You can access them during the night but must keep them in the chaperone-supervised rooms during the party.
Can I bring a cell phone?
Yes. Phones are encouraged for photos and updates. Download the Yapp App and arrive
with your phone charged.

You’ll receive updates on raffles, activities, food, and more throughout the night.
Can I bring food or drinks?
No outside food or beverages are allowed. Food and drinks will be provided. Check the app for options and dietary information.
What is the code of conduct?
No alcohol, drugs, or illegal substances. No tobacco or vaping. Security and police will be present. Parents will be contacted if needed.
Can I leave early?
Yes, but if you leave before 3:30 am, you cannot return and will not receive a wristband for the Sunrise Sendoff.
What if I need medication?
Only prescribed medication is allowed. Email newtriergradparty@gmail.com ahead of the party for approval or storage needs.
What if I have an aide?
Email in advance to have your aide added to the guest list.
Do I need a date?
No. This is for New Trier 2026 grads only—no outside guests.
What if I lose something?
Lost and Found will be available during the event. Please leave valuables at home.
What is the Sunrise Sendoff?
A chaperoned beach event at Gillson Beach after the party. You must have your wristband to attend.
Is transportation provided from the party to the beach?
No, students are responsible for their own transportation.
Are grads supervised at the beach?
Yes. Parent volunteers, police, and park staff will be present. No bags or outside items allowed.
What time should I go to the beach?
Sunrise is anticipated at 5:17 am on Monday, June 1st. No one will be allowed on the beach until 4:00 am, but plan your travel to arrive in time to greet the sun! Gillson Beach, park, and parking lots must be vacated by 6:00 am.
You will be notified via the YappApp if the Sunrise Sendoff is cancelled due to inclement weather.
